The story

The context

Corteva is a US-listed, global agriscience business, specialising in crop protection chemistry and seed breeding genetics. It is committed to improving food security and climate resilience, while driving greater value for farmers.

Every day, Corteva invests nearly $4 million in sustainable innovation to help farmers solve some of their toughest challenges, from rising pest and disease pressures to extreme weather.

The impact report is an opportunity for Corteva to update stakeholders on how it helps farmers increase productivity and minimise natural resource usage.

The challenge

Reporting keeps getting more complex, but that doesn't mean it should be harder to access for stakeholders.

Conventional PDF reports are limiting; it’s harder to integrate engaging content such as video and more difficult to search for complex information quickly. And PDFs are almost impossible to read on a mobile.

With iXBRL requirements on the horizon, Corteva were keen to future-proof their report with a digital-first, accessible and tagging-ready approach – making it smarter, faster, and more impactful.

The solution

Designed and built in Reportl, Corteva's 2024 Impact report is, for the first time, available in both online and PDF format. This approach has transformed Corteva's reporting, making it accessible, searchable and responsive – all created through one integrated system.

The report is fully interactive, using animation and video to bring Corteva's sustainability story to life, transforming their stakeholder engagement.
